Van Gogh was a great admirer of Japanese art. He wrote that it made him happy and cheerful. This wallpaper is from His painting 'Flowering Plum Orchard' Paris .Oct-Nov 1887  is based on the painting 'Plum Garden in Kameido' by Utagawa Hiroshige. Van Gogh accurately reproduced the composition but made the colours much more intense.

Here we offer the intense Japanese Red and seven other colour options to suit your own orchard.
