Studio Le Cocq - by Stephanie Le Cocq

Appreciating the natural world through a decorative lens. Interior decoration to bring the nature indoors. We've been speaking with Stephanie for a while now and are super excited to help launch this talent into our wonderful worlds. Here are her premier 'British Biophilia' collection of wallpapers, we can't wait for more.

The Lost Garden - Ecru

A wild botanical chintz wallpaper. This pattern is inspired by the late botanical artist William Kilburn, he was famous for his detailed chintzes in the 18th century. Drawing from the beautiful Spring flowers growing at Shute Farm’s forgotten Peace Garden, in Somerset. For those floral lovers, this is an update with a warmer hue, it feels perfect for a cottage kitchen.

This pattern is available in Pear, India Yellow, Coastal Blue, Ebony, Ecru.

Monotone options Cottage Blue, Earth Red

More about the Artist...

Stephanie Le Cocq (pronounced ‘Le Coke’) is a British-Filipina print designer based in the heart of Somerset, UK. She launched her interior decoration brand Studio Le Cocq in 2020, creating patterns and prints that show the natural world through a decorative lens.

Her return to Somerset has encouraged her to pause and take in her local surroundings, small details catch her eye, from the leafy sprawl on a forest floor to a cluster of wildflowers on the side of a bridleway.

These moments are captured by finely drawn and painted illustrations, which are often influenced by historical textile and natural history references.

Stephanie has worked for over a decade in the industry, her portfolio of work ranges from various global fashion and interior brands, and has lived and worked in the USA, and Scandinavia and is now back home in the UK.
