Tatie Lou was founded by Louise Wargnier in 2019. A print textile designer and creator of intricate patterned wallpapers and homewares.
Inspired by the brilliance of Mother Nature, the magic of India, and the beauty of ancient Japanese crafts, Louise designs a collection of original prints annually. Created through a mixture of shibori dyeing, hand and digital drawing, and painting, each signature print is digitized and transformed into a suite of different colourways before being applied to wallpapers, fabrics, cushions and lampshades, as well as blankets and table linens.
One for maximalists, our hand-drawn Garden of India design features a flourishing trellis with a folkloric feel. Illustrative of the country’s abundant natural beauty and visceral energy, it imagines lush and leafy botanicals in deeply saturated jewel tones. Each cushion is printed onto high quality soft pile poly velvet, giving the cushion a beautiful shimmery shine.
