This unusual Walnut Art Deco cabinet takes us back to the decadent glamour of 1920s and 1930s eras. It has been lovingly and sympathetically restored with a unique contemporary design details and is now ready to be adored in a new home. The glorious cabinet features a central glass display section, with organically curved wooden sections at each end. There is lock and key for the glass display, and interior rechargeable LED lighting, which can be set to stay on or come on when opened. It sits elegantly on an Art Deco curved wooden base. The piece has been finished in high quality furniture mineral paint, in bespoke mixed colour, giving a deep teal blue/green richness. The stunning natural walnut grain has been sanded and enhanced with several coats of superior finishing oil. The interior has been painted with a mustard shade of mineral paint, to complement the deep teal, and waxed with specialist furniture salve. It smells divine! It has been styled to complement its Art Deco features, with sophisticated touches of design print and gold leafing, gilding and stencilling. All the work is meticulously created by hand. The main glass doors of the centre display case have a golden curved Deco motif design against the deep teal paint. Inside, shows a stunning designer pattern, “Deco Martini” from a “Divine Savages” collection. There are two glass shelves and the sides panels have been refurbished with a complementing gold paper. The luxurious curved end sections boast not only the deep grain beauty of original wood, but also bespoke stencilling Art Deco fan designs in gold, complementing the “Deco Martini” designer paper in the centre cabinet. The curved upper sections have a walnut shelf and gold leafing to add a luxurious glow to the piece. Underneath, each cupboard has a small shelf which can easily be taken
out for full height if preferred. New quality solid Deco design brass knobs have been added to each of the doors.
